Are your products vegan?

Yes! All of our products are vegan-friendly. No honey, no gelatin, no bone char sugars, no animal-poo, and our peptone used in our agar plates are made only of vegetable proteins. If you have a question, feel free to ask!


Do you process bulk orders for grain, agar, and everything else?

Yes! If you’re looking to make a large order, please let us know ahead of time the quantity and/or pounds per bag before ordering so we can give you an estimated time of process completion.

Why are the kits only offered in sets of 2 or more?

We recommend you inject each kit with a different syringe in the event one of the syringes you’ve received from a vendor is faulty.

I mixed my kits up before it had time to grow! Is everything going to be ok?

Yes, it will be fine, however do not continue to play with the kit as it will cause the mycelium to restart and grow more tired over time.

Is it okay if my all-in-one kit has been mixed before injection?

Yes! The kits will work just fine.


How long do you wait after inoculating the kits?

You’ll want to wait up to 2-6 weeks as going from spore to grain can take a while to show signs of growth. For liquid culture inoculations, 2-4 weeks. Growth rate is dependent on the species of the mushroom and the environment which it is grown in.

I inoculated my kits, its been 6 weeks and nothing is happening?

This is a sign that there was no spores, expired spores, or expired liquid culture. In which case you can reach out to your syringe supplier for a new syringe, shake your new syringe, wipe down the port with 70% alc. and reinject (does not matter if the kit is already fully mixed). If theres any color but white or pink for pink oyster, you likely have a contamination.

Is it okay if there are some burst grain in my grain bag or all-in-one kit?

Yes indeed! They will work just fine.


Why is my All-In-One kit flat upon arrival?

Our products are pre-sterilized, therefore compressed. They’re ready to use! They will puff up after the mushroom has had time to grow.


My all-in-one grow kit or grain bag is contaminated upon shipment arrival. What can I do?

Send us an email with your order number, details, and clear photos of the kit(s) with the injection port (black dot) and contamination visible in the same photo (front and back of kits) within 5 days of the delivery of your shipment. If you forgot what day your order arrived, you may refer to your order’s tracking number in your email. We do not replace kits past 5 days of arrival or kits that have been used. We are not Amazon, however, we will do our best!


Am I growing mushrooms or mold (contamination) in my all-in-one kit, grain bag, or agar plates?

Our products are a sterilized foundation for the mushroom to grow on/within. Our product is only bad if it shows up moldy upon product delivery. Our products are incredibly durable!

If your syringe does not have viable mushroom liquid culture or spores, there will be no growth. If your syringe is bad, you will find contamination (mold).

 It is very important to source your syringe from a reputable vendor. If there is no sign of healthy growth or there is signs of mold growth, or no growth, you should reach out to the syringe vendor and let them know you may have a bad syringe(s).

Any mention of the cultivation of “active” mushroom species will result in non-service. This is the standard protocol between all mushroom supply vendors, including and particularly those who offer syringes.

It looks like there is an unequal amount of coco to grain ratio in my kit?

While it may seem that way, it is only because coco coir is much different in size than oats/milo. For example, if you mix an equal weight of sand to marbles, it will appear there’s more sand. Our kits are weighed one-by-one by our system.


Is it okay if there is moisture in my agar plate bag?

Yes! The plates are just fine. If you have condensation in a plate you can flip it upside down as a remedy.

Click here and scroll down to see a video tutorial! Don’t forget to ALWAYS clean your hands with 70% isopropyl alcohol before working with sterile media!



Agar Plate Storage

Use within 5 days, store in a cool dark place (18c - 24c or 65f - 75f), on a shelf in your grow area or lab is just fine. Unused plates will last for months depending on your environment. Do not store agar plates in a hot area or humidifier chamber of any sort.



I think something is wrong with my agar plates?

If you have any issues, send me an email with your order number, details, and photos of the issue within 5 days of the delivery of your shipment. If you forgot what day your order arrived, you may refer to your order’s tracking number in your email.

How do you use the e-gift card?

When will my 5lb. Cut and Grow kit be sent?

Orders can take a couple of weeks before shipment as they are made to order. This allows us to not produce unnecessary waste from overstock.


What if I paid for a product and applied an incorrect shipping address?

  • You may track and intercept the package by using the tracking number and/or pick it up at the location it’s being sent to.

  • You may wait for the package to make its way back to the return address (if it does come back) then you may pay for shipping for me to reship it out to you with the correct address. I will contact you when/if the package arrives at the return address.



What if my tracking says delivered but I haven’t received the package?

  • You may contact the carrier (typically USPS) to find where the package is.

  • Often times carriers update the tracking earlier than the package arrives.


When will my order be shipped?

Orders are shipped twice a week. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out! ***Please have patience during the holidays as the postal services can become very busy***


Will I receive a tracking number?

Yes! When your order is shipped you will receive a confirmation email along with the tracking number.


Can I get a refund?

Orders are non-refundable. If you placed an order and didn’t mean to, feel free to reach out immediately! If your order has already been shipped, we cannot issue a refund.
